Beaver Trio

I think our local beaver colony is up to something.  Dare I hope that they're practicing for future Alternative Olympic Games?  Who knows.  It would be lovely to have them in the competition.  Anyway, for whatever reason there was no shortage of beaver on the pond today.  Some were coming and some were going.  They had a particular traffic pattern but I didn't see any of them hauling branches.  The top two are going toward the dam and the bottom one is swimming away from it.  They made a couple of balletic-like turns which I thought might be part of the practice.  With beaver you never know, but I'll keep watch just in case they give a clue as to what they're doing.
