An Early Start

My usual volleyball venue was lost this weekend to a dog surfing event, so my daughter arranged some games at South Mission Beach so I could avoid volleyball withdrawals. The competition for courts meant we had to be at the beach by 7:00 and this beach is a 45 minute drive from our home. The early start was totally worth it however as we were able to reconnect with some old friends and make some new acquaintances, especially at the after play BBQ (which should have been the photo for today had I taken any shots there).
