Alighting on the meadow

Such a happy place to be. The course has started. We have recamped from Villa Franceschi to Villa Margherita. I had a walk in the meadow to have some thinking time and then write a little. The flowers and insects are out in abundance particularly after the rain. This evening we have dined magnificently and introduced ourselves. Workshops start tomorrow morning and then, more Venice.
