Glasgow grapes

A trip west this afternoon for our grandson’s birthday party - or at least the party for the oldies, being celebrated at his other grandparents’ house.  Nothing too strenuous and no partygames as the two youngsters were a bit bleary-eyed after the real party adventures and sleepover yesterday. At least it meant that the oldies had a good blether.

Outside, on the front wall of their house, Alan has a vine which produces quite decent grapes. I had a taste of one and they’re really rather nice and sweet.  Who knew you could grow grapes outside in Scotland?
