pre-Easter lunch

Almost a year ago I was drilling these guys on parts of speech and Microsoft Excel, and here they are poaching pears and otherwise spoiling all of us with what they've learned during their first semester of school. Jane Cruywagen, who took Lindsey and I camping last month, hosted the SAEP staff and old and new interns at her house today for a mixer, and Zips and Luyanda catered the whole thing with a four-course, four-star meal (36 people...we paid of course). It was really nice to see the old gang and hear about their first terms at university, and I think it encouraged the new interns to come out of their shells a bit. The girls in last year's group are still the loudest human beings on earth, with hearts as big. Mfanelo (middle) still wants to be the President of the United States.
