Filling and planting up

After an orchid session at home, repotting, descaling (the insect variety) and general pampering, I finally got to the saffron bed. It has now been filled with a mix of compost, top soil and gravel and finally 20 saffron corms. I took the picture part way through planting as I thought another picture of a bare bed might be a tad boring. Probably a bit late for flowers this year, but hopeful for next year.
Next job will be sorting out the brassica bed and planting out or potting on some of the herbs I have bought in recent garden visits.
Note to self: must not buy any more plants, bulbs or seeds until I have planted or sown what I have.
