Albizia julibrissin

It was such a beautiful, sunny morning that we just had to visit Hillier's  Gardens. This is a photo of a very striking tree growing in a sheltered, sunny corner by Jermyn's House. It is Albizia julibrissin.
There was lots of late summer and  early autumn colour throughout the garden.
I had a Hillier's gift voucher to use so I spent a happy half hour browsing the garden centre for spring bulbs and a couple of half price perennial  plants ( including an Helenium  cultivar called "Short and Sassy" which I couldn't resist!) .
