Lac de Cheserys

… and Lac Blanc (extra) above Chamonix had to be visited today as walking up from the Col de Montets is fine but coming down to the valley afterwards is too steep for me now. Today was the last day of the télécabine down before the ski season, phew! Of course that meant that there were hundreds of people on the walk as you can see in the extra particularly. Nevertheless, to see the Mont Blanc Range close up with a sprinkling of snow on it after months of the grayness of melting glaciers, was such a privilege.

Thanks for all the bouquetin gifts for yesterday’s blip, I am feeling very tired tonight so might not be blipping for long.
