Green Shield Bug

This green shield bug sitting on a beech twig was being very shy as each time I tried to take a photograph it moved away or around the twig out of sight.

Household chores and mowed the grass where it had produced green shoots again after the drought.

Last night E and I went to the village hall filmnight to watch the film "Operation Mincemeat".  Enjoyed by all and there was a raffle - didn't win anything as usual!
