Godafoss

Today was our last day in Iceland. No sunrise shoot as we'd expected the weather to be lousy - snow and a chill wind meant wrapping up warm to come out here was essential. I'm really glad we did as Goðafoss is a gorgeous waterfall!

I'm happy to say I brought some spikes to wear on my shoes as otherwise I wouldn't have dared stand up on this rock for this picture - or rather these pictures. About 8 shots merged into one as I'm lacking a proper wide-angle lens - oh how I felt it on this trip!

Back home today preceded by an internal flight over the mountains - stunning views from the aeroplane - totally worth having to repack our bags to fit in with the weight limits allowed in the cabin!
