Scooters, Scooters

Everywhere in Newcastle today.  I needed to pop into town today and there were rented scooters abandoned all over the place.  I'm sure they are great fun but I'm not a huge fan.  I also saw one being used on a very busy street by a man with his young son standing in front of him on the deck - no helmets being worn.  I think I'm getting old and grumpy.    

I thought it was quite amusing yesterday when someone in the crowds waiting to see the Lying-In-State offered Prince Charles a pen.  He took it and laughed about it.
