Chucker-outers

The container on the right is the one we usually use to catch and chuck out wasps, bees, spiders, etc that come into the house. The one on the left is the one I used for a spider in my bedroom last night - I had to hunt around the house for something big enough ... It was late and Richard was sound asleep and I stood in front of the spider for a long time, wondering whether to wake Richard up or not. In the end, I was brave.

Not long after we first moved here, I made my bed one morning and flung up the downie and under it were two huge spiders. One alive and one dead. I must have rolled onto it ...
