Jackdaw on the roof

Glorious unbroken sunshine and what did I have to do?.......Ironing! MrPN announced last night that he had run out of clean shirts. However I took lots of tea breaks which were spent in the garden so I can't really complain too much. I had my eye on a nice orange tip butterfly that kept coming into the garden and fluttering about but it just refused to settle so I had to give that a miss :-( We have got the large black rooks and jackdaws starting to come into the garden - they nearly always visit at this time of year because there's not a lot in the fields for them, but they are very shy and the slightest movement sends them into a flap. I did manage to get a quick shot of one of the jackdaws on the roof before he flew away :-)
