Lying in State

We walked through Westminster Hall at about 8.15am, and had the extra privilege of standing still and watching the changing of the guard, and were out again 20 minutes later. It was all very very moving.

I’m glad that we did this, as well as yesterday. But I did need to rush away to get back for Bible Study and it was surreal to be focusing on Ecclesiastes with my group by 10.30am, with all the mind stuff Ecclesiastes gives birth to.

3 of the ladies in my group found it so hard, one being a lady who had lost everything in Ukraine, I had to leave the questions planned and head to gospel passages and Jesus’ teaching in some of His parables which was tonic for the downhearted.
