Pop-Up Cafe

SATURDAY

As part of my birthday weekend we visited the pop-up cafe at Dark Woods, near Marsden, Huddersfield. The company roast coffee by hand on a 1950's Probat drum roaster in a refurbished Victorian textile mill beside the Huddersfield Narrow Canal and River Colne. They operate a pop-up cafe on one day each month.

We also visited the Zapata craft brewery next door and a pop-up food stall in the gardens outside.

A salmon dinner this evening with birthday cake for afters.
