The news coming from Balmoral through the day didn't sound good.
The Queen was under medical supervision.
Then the children started going to Balmoral.
Then the Grandchildren.

With all that going on, I wasn't really shocked to hear the news on my way home that Queen Elizabeth had died this afternoon.
96 years old and 70 years on the throne, none of us are likely to see that again.

There's been a lot of -over- use of the word unprecedented over the last few years but in the context of our modern world this really is, and it's going to be an interesting next couple of weeks building up to her funeral.


The only thing I really had was a few stamps but thought I should mark it somehow.
