Hanging in there

In an old warehouse in Old Portsmouth there was an exhibition of work by some of the members of the Makers Guild. There's some great young creatives at work in Portsmouth and the Treadgolds warehouse was a brilliant venue for their work. I was rather taken by the puppets made by Puppeteer and academic Matt Smith - created out of rubbish and found objects. I know the Upholsterer Lesley Bushell - in extras and it was great to see her wonderful stools and watch her demonstrating her patch work technique.
