The Old Forge
Quickie blip.
I blip this every year when its leaves first appear, but I have discovered I have been mislabelling it as 'acer palmatum', blindly carrying forward the incorrect description from each previous year. It is actually 'acer pseudoplatanus Brilliantissimum', or variegated Sycamore Maple, an altogether different kind of Japanese Maple.
This was photographed from underneath, with the camera pointing up at the sky.
