This weekend are the Journées européennes du patrimoine (European Heritage Days) in Paris and we wanted to visit something new, without queuing too long. We finally visited 3 sites and the one we most liked was the French Ministry of Education. They prepared lots to see, an insight to the future of school and some young musicians played music in the court.


The main blip shows the Minister's office. 

In the first extra, a moving robot with a screen. These are used when children cannot attend school for a longer period of time (e.g. due to a hospital stay of one month or more). With this device, they can attend classes remotely. We were told that there are already 4000 of these machines in use throughout France.

In the second extra, we discovered the Minister of Education himself in the garden of the ministry, chatting with visitors.
