Nasturtium on the wall

I let out my neighbour’s chickens and fed them. I’m always relieved when they emerge fit and healthy when I’m in charge.

I spent the morning sorting out the house while the family are away then went to the castle to the Handmade Fair to be held in the grounds. I should have guessed - it was cancelled due to the compulsory mourning. Fortunately I only had to walk down the road but people could have travelled a distance and there was no publicity about it’s cancellation.

While I was at the castle I spotted this lovely nasturtium stem tumbling down a wall from a flower bed above.

This afternoon I did some gardening, it’s feeling very autumnal now.
