Distant Rain

We went for a short walk and then a meal with our friend B who  is going to move to the Black Forest in two weeks. Who knows when and where we’ll see him again…

The weather is pretty autumnal, with a very cool wind and occasional showers. On our walk we watched this cloud drop its rain on the Rhine valley further west of us. 

Another version of the same view is in the extra, I couldn’t quite decide which photo I liked better. Which do you prefer - the one with the light on the grapevine in the foreground, or the one that includes the sun over the cloud?
