There was a small anniversary celebration for Shona this afternoon- 2 years of belonging to the Stromness Singing Selkies. A small bottle of Prosecco was produced and handed round the 4 of us present. It was quaffed at the red buoy- no mean feat while treading water in quite a lively sea.

Now relaxing before tripping the light fantastic to the Merkister Hotel on Loch Harray to wine and dine with the Cheeky Monkey Taxi Service’s shareholders. I’m sure gougons will be a feature on someone’s plate. Me? I might have to have freshly caught fish with chips and peas.
