Lyme & Wood Country Park

Did the weekly shop this morning then off in the afternoon to plan my new Adventure Lab Cache.
This country park is a great place to walk or relax. It was formed from two former collieries. The car park is on Vista Road, Haydock, St Helens. 
Lovely trails, good paths, ponds and viewpoints. Lots of birds. I haven't explored here before and was surprised how nice it is. It's large but has many benches to pause st, plus some picnic tables near the car park which are in excellent condition.
