2820. Gruz Marina

A walk cut short by torrential downpour again this morning, thought we’d manage to avoid it for a bit of exercise but had to turn back when the heavens opened.

I think we will stay around the hotel today as we were both so soaked yesterday and our sandals haven’t yet dried out. My handbag is finally dry this morning as are my trousers and top.

The forecast is much better for tomorrow and for the rest of our stay. Not sure what we will do tomorrow as it’s Sunday and the buses are a lot less frequent on a Sunday plus we have an extremely early start on Monday when we travel to Mostar for the day on a coach tour.

We are hoping to meet up with some friends who are on a cruise and will be in Dubrovnik on Tuesday but we’re not quite sure what time they will get here or where to meet them.

Thankfully the hotel is lovely and we have a huge room and a balcony which has stayed completely dry, so if we wanted to sit out we can.
