Raindrops on lavatera

The mornings are very 'dewy' these days as autumn approaches.
One of our kittens decided to disappear this evening. I was fairly sure she was indoors so went round the house calling, meowing and rattling her food container. Also checked every cupboard. No sign! I did this at least twice more.
Eventually, 3 hours later, she just wandered into the sitting room. I am none the wiser as to where she had been.
