Sumburgh memories

I had the good fortune to do an approach to one of my old stomping grounds, Sumburgh Airport in Shetland.

Looks real doesn't it - except that it's not. It's Microsoft Flight Sim 2020 runnning a 145 simulator, and it's so realistic it's uncanny!

I still can't get my head round how utterly mindblowingly awesome this stuff is! I did a whole flight round Shetland in the 145 simulator - at home on my PC!!!!!!

(For the observant, the Number 1 engine has failed - this was an ILS approach to 27 after an engine fire on the number 1. COOL!)
