Simonsbath

It was a perfect day today so we walked from Simonsbath to Cow Castle - a walk which I had long wanted to follow . We picnicked up on the moor before we set off although the deer weren’t about . 
In the evening we had a bar meal with my sister and b-in-l at the Top Ship in Porlock . The evening rounded off with some morris dancers and I happily joined in with the audience participation! Good fun although it was getting dark in Porlock when the dancing commenced so some of the morris men dangerously stood in the road to wave traffic past !
