Red Admiral #11

Sorry, it's another butterfly, but this is one of our native ones not one from the butterfly house today. 

I've not seen a lot of Red Admirals this year in the garden, but this gorgeous specimen landed on the strawflowers as I went out to water the greenhouse tomatoes this evening. 

I spent three hours pinning the last of the butterfly pupae this morning. We now have around 250 butterflies waiting to emerge. This week will be so exciting. Some of them were literally bursting to say hello as I was pinning them up.
