Windy, Wet and Wild

The Dadski and I travelled down to the carawanga last night, so I woke for my birthday to the sound of incredibly heavy rain on the tin roof - fantastic!!!

We managed to dodge the incredibly heavy rain showers and walked The Hound along the beach into town.  The weather was immense: the waves were crashing and creating what we used to call Dr Who foam on the beach.  It was so wild that it made you really feel alive :)

A cup of coffee drunk whilst sheltering in a ‘happy hole’ on the pier as another heavy rain shower (including hail??!!) came down.

Quick shop for buffet lunch ingredients and a sneaky taxi home, with The Hound wrapped in my coat to avoid getting the interior wet and sandy!  Lunch in front of ‘A Place In The sun’, then reading and snoozing as the weather went mad outside.

Plan is to go for a birthday Indian tonight, then The Dopski and Big Bro should be arriving for the rest of the weekend - fun times :)))
