Last night's sleep was amazing, the sounds of the bugs and trees and the breeze and stars through the mesh of the tent. The moon was full and you could quite easily see your surroundings without the need of a head torch.
These are going to be big days. After breakfast and pre-start meeting we headed into the bush. Myself and antoine were mapping and taking rock samples. From 11-2 it's out-of-breath-hot where you are panting to keep cool if you so much as walk.
Getting back about 430 you generally sit around in the shade for an hour and a half before using the camp shower. No point in showering earlier because it's too hot. When the sun sets its blissfully warm/cool. Evenings are definitely cherished out bush.
In the evening we cooked kebabs and wraps.
