2022 Tuesday — Skilled Craftsmen

Mercado and his workers arrived about 7:30 this morning. Once his guys got to working, he took the big work truck that has been parked here all weekend into San Luis Obispo to AirVol Block, Inc. to get 4 more pallets of Allan Block.

When Mercado got back, he parked the big truck so the guys could unload the Allan Block onto the lot next door to us and not have to walk our stairs into our backyard.

The men worked hard all day. Late in the afternoon I sat on the patio with Mr. Fun and Mercado talking and watching the guys work. Their diligence to cut and make the Allan Block fit precisely against the one big rock in our hill was that of a skilled craftsman.

They made their exit about 6:45 this evening. I don't know how they work such long hours.
