Apple of Peru.
Today was a day of preparation, the area that has been planted as an orchard needs to be weeded so that it can be made ready for grass seeding. I've no idea where the topsoil originated from but there are many unusual "weeds" in it, I have learned about a number of new plants. The one pictured is a definite keeper, a member of the nightshade family and described a very poisonous but also beautiful.
After a day of bending over I'm quite tired, progress isn't bad and about a third has been done.
RF and I then met at the lovely Flowerpots Inn for dinner in the garden in the sun before she collected Murphy from the groomer and I cut her front lawn.
Unsurprisingly this entry is a day late due to me falling asleep before writing it!
