A Lidl Shop...

As part of our Brownie meeting this evening, half the girls walked to our local Lidl to do a spot of shopping. For our Harvest donation this year we are purchasing goods to help the Church where we meet run Warm Places sessions to help folk through the winter months. The girls are given £2 each out of their termly subs and with this they buy goods to donate. This way we ensure the goods are 1) relevant to the present project and 2) in date and OK to consume. The girls have to budget themselves not to over spend, they love it and did really well tonight :)
