Butterfly weather.

What did I do today ?   Hoovered the stairs, sponged a stain on the carpet,  paid the window cleaner, phoned British Gas to make an  appointment to have my boiler and fire serviced.  Waited in a queue.  Why do they  need to know my date of birth as a security check ?  Why do they disappear for about ten minutes “checking what appointment dates they have. “.  They come back with one date when I’m on holiday.  Once that is sorted they then phone back asking me to do a survey.  I accept and give them “nul points”  which is some satisfaction.  In the afternoon I went round to Falkland Palace gardens hoping for butterflies.  We’re there butterflies ?  The place was awash with them. It was wonderful.  One of the gardeners commented and we ended up having a long chat. He’s just come to work there so was pleased to get information about Falkland.  Came home and spent so much time sorting out a massive amount of photos that dinner was very late. Don’t think I’ll get much commenting done tonight but hopefully I’ll catch up tomorrow.
