Whitby Wander

We decided to head to the coast to enjoy the best of the day. 

Walking above West Cliff we spotted Skipper Dora part of a new heritage trail. Dora Walker was the first female fishing boat skipper on the north east coast. She was a nurse in World War 1. Bronchial problems led her to seek some sea air. Ultimately she skippered her own boat the Good Faith.
