Running at sundown

Tired this morning. It had rained during the night. I opted for some extra time asleep. Busy clinic dayuntil mid afternoon, and then came the paperwork.

All this meant that I headed out for a run as the sun was in the process of falling below the horizon. A photo from the deck of the apartment immediately before I went out, had to be through the plastic netting on the scaffolding which has been put up as they are about to paint the exterior of the building as part of the ten year maintenance plan.

We have been here ten years (or will have been on 31 August). Ten years staying in one place does produce an amount more than we had when we first came.

Anyway, this photo was taken very shortly after I left the front door, and with horizon formed by the top of the Waitakeres a third of the way up the disc of the sun. Worth seeing large
