From the Queen

I was absolutely delighted to find out that we had been sent a thank you letter from our late Queen in respect of the jubilee cards the children had made for her.  https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2977208697433882820   The letter was headed with Balmoral Castle, the envelope had the royal crest on the back and Buckingham Palace stamp on the front and a lovely card enclosed too with two photos and a message.

Incredibly poignant and moving to receive this the week we are mourning her death.  The news hit the local news and the teacher also spoke on local radio after school today.

I’m incredibly proud as it was my own little project that I did with the children.
