Brains Brewery

A visit to my dad in Cardiff, but he wasn't there as planned so with a bit of time spare, I travelled to The Old Brains Brewery Site off Penarth Road to see the progress. 

The site has just been cleared of most of the buildings, with those in my photograph to remain, the link here shows how the plans for the 700 apartments on the redeveloped site will look.  Great to get it recorded as it'll become more valuable over time.

Many of you will recognise the Millennium Stadium poking out behind the old Brewery Building.  I remember the original stadium being built with my grandparents living opposite it in the 1960's. I'm getting old!
