An Urban Goat

It was a beautiful evening here in Portland for an evening walk. We headed out from our condo to walk the hilly roads above the city. I spotted a carport with a grass roof with a tin goat grazing. Many of you live in areas where you just walk out your door and see the real thing.

I often wonder what it would be like to live in a rural area or on a farm. Would I be bored? What would I do for entertainment? Would I be scared at night because it is too dark and too quiet? Would I have to get in my car to drive to the store or a restaurant or go the bank or post office? Well at least I don't have to worry about my livestock escaping. I only have to be concerned about painting a rusting goat.
