Floral Tributes…

… to our late Queen in Green Park today.

The park and The Mall had been closed due to maximum capacity just as we arrived this morning. We walked on to Hyde Park stopping to read and appreciate the floral tributes there, and then we watched The Queen’s last journey from Buckingham Palace to Westminster Hall on the big screen along with several thousand others. Quite an amazing atmosphere and very good to be there. We heard the gun salute, very near to where we were. We’d walked past where they were preparing.

We’ve had 11 friends from our church House Group here this evening. We haven’t met “live” in such numbers for a long time!
