Tresco
Today we took the boat to Tresco.
Some of us walked around north coast while the others went to the Tresco Abbey Gardens. The walk around the coast was a delight and the sun shone generously.
The heather here grows close to the ground and makes a light springy carpet to walk upon.
After lunch, we went to see the gardens. They are superb. I was sorry not to have longer to take it all in. My blip is of a sculpture called Children by David Wyne which was unveiled by Princess Diana in 1991.
Back at home, Mum is being well looked after and is feeling a bit better. The district nurse came to see her and dressed her leg. She also removed a cannula that had been inserted in hospital, but overlooked at discharge!
