A visit from the Pugs

Today Tom & Ollie, the chunky little hyper Pugs came to visit me. Obviously they brought their daddies, Steve & Simon, too.

It was lovely to see them all, but honestly................... Ann says I'm 'bouncy'; but they're even more bouncy than me. They were jumping around all over the place. They emptied all my toys out of my toy bucket and were generally very hyper.................... until they got exhausted and then they just settled down on their daddies knees for a snooze.

I'd had a little 'pep talk' before they arrived so I knew what was expected of me. However, I'd just been in the field to play with my ball and after I've played with my ball, I'm always in 'guard mode' for about half an hour afterwards. So there I was, lying in my bed, guarding my ball, when one of those chunky little pugs tried to steal it. I growled at him. Ann said that wasn't 'appropriate behaviour' but I didn't care. I'm the friendliest little Collie pup ever, but if someone tries to steal my ball, I will most definitely go into 'possessive, neurotic, collie mode'. It's the only time I ever growl??!!

Anyway Ann & Simon drank a bottle of Prosecco Steve had an orange juice. Lol! One of the Pugs drank a lot of my water. Don't know which one because we can't tell them apart. And we've arranged for STAR (Steve is Ann's ex-boss) to come and do some decorating for us. Yay!

It's actually hard work being a 'holiday let host' because things that you would just 'live with' if it were your own home, actually need to be in tip top condition if you have paying guests staying.

Oh and my human tried to make me pose with the Pugs for a photo shoot. …..............This is the best she could do?????
