Grange-Over-Sands

We caught the train to Grange-Over-Sands today. We had to change at Carnforth which is where some scenes from the wonderful film 'Brief Encounter' was filmed.

Grange is on Morecambe Bay and is unusual in that it does not have a proper beach - more like mud flats. There was however, a lovely promenade to walk along and we were able to sit outside and have our lunch in the pleasant sunshine.
