Legless!

Lucky again this morning to see cranes in the recently cut field. They really do look like emus and they are about the same size.
I guess it will be next month before they leave us, but what makes them fly away?
Is it the lower temperatures, the less light, the lack of food or something else!
Later, I went across to Inverurie to meet up with an old friend and it was good to catch up.
