Meet up

Travelled to Skipton today to meet up with my long time friend H . She lives in Lancashire so it is about halfway for us both.  A dull and damp start today - the photo being the scenery from the top deck of the bus. After a couple of coffees we sat on the benches on the canal basin as the sun had come out - it then got too hot so we moved on.  We have known each other for 62 years and still can't stop talking when we meet up.  Accidently tapped my credit card on the bus before the driver was ready so had to do "tap and go" - not sure what that has cost me, but a single back to Keighley has just cost me £3.70.  A day return is £4.50, and in West Yorks the dearest single is £2.  Teach me to be too quick to put my card down!
Hopefully will get back to the village just in time for drinks with friends at the local.
