Hares Tails - Lagurus Ovatus

There are thousands of Hares Tails/Bunny Tails (depending on where you come from) popping up everywhere in patches of the natural environment in our suburb. 
You know spring has sprung when these start to appear! 

In extras is a shot of our nesting Willy Wagtails fighting off a lurking Kookaburra this morning.  They are such feisty little birds and the Kooka was not too bothered by them hitting him on the back and head for about 10 minutes as he finally flew off to greener pastures. They do try and get the eggs!!!
