Macclesfield silk

All the schoolchildren in Macclesfield received a silk handkerchief to mark the coronation of Queen Elizabeth ll. It was made at Brocklehurst Whistons as they were still manufacturing silk at the time. I thought it was a fitting photo for this week. 
It did involve an extensive search to find it. It was just where you’d look, under the printer paper in an envelope. :-)
