Lion

Rainy day so we went to Osborne House, a favourite holiday home of Queen Victoria. And all the other tourists must have read the same page on what to do on the IoW when it rains … so busy!

Interesting place: art, rooms, Swiss Cottage, beach hut, grounds and beautifully planted formal gardens. The India-inspired Durbur Room was spectacular.

I was quite taken with this toothy cross-eyed lion on the path down to the beach.
