Spring flowers at Glendhu Bay

These yellow flowers are a native to NZ, Kowhai.  I had a beautiful walk at Glendhu Bay this morning, the lake was mostly calm.  I clocked up 10K steps, so pleased about that.  Even though it was sunny, I still wore my jacket, but in the car on the way home I put on the Air conditioning!  +11C.  The extra is a Kowhai tree growing along the path.

Now I'm going to watch what is happening in the UK in regard to the Queen's death and funeral.  There is so much we can see even though it is 4am. there.  Modern technology is simply wonderful.
