Tiny Crabapples

I went outside looking for a sign of fall.  Our leaves really haven't started changing yet.  Then I spotted these crabapples on a branch hanging over our fence from the neighbors' tree.  Many thanks to MaryElizaR for hosting Tiny Tuesdays this month!

B & D are leaving for the airport at 4 AM tomorrow.  I was going to spend the night tonight, but I thought I would sleep better at home.  They're only 5 minutes away, so I'll set my alarm for 3:30, grab my pillow and head to their house to stay with the dogs.  Hopefully they will cooperate and go back to sleep with me for at least a few more hours.  Piper and her dad will come over late morning and spend the day with us.  We will be with them until Sunday, part of the time there and part here.  All dogs will be in their own homes overnight, so PD and I will take turns coming home with Piper to sleep.  We'll see how it all works out....

I am grateful that the Rec Center has finally reopened after their refurbishing.  The pool was resealed and repainted and has new boilers.  I've never seen the tile so clean.  It looked brand new and was the perfect temperature.  It was great to get back to water aerobics after 3 weeks. :-)

Thanks to everyone for your visits and stars and hearts.  I really appreciate all of them!  I'm going to do a quick catch up on your journals before I go to bed - which will be early.  I hope I can fall asleep!
